Shé:kon Kèn:’en Itewe’s / We Are Still Here is an Indigenous-led week of programming held at Champlain Saint-Lambert ahead of Orange Shirt Day and National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on Sept. 30.

The Indigenous students & Indigenous Student Ambassadors have organized a series of events which highlight Indigenous cultures and history.

Each workshop and event has been inspired by our Indigenous students. Weeks of preparation have led to a truly moving week of addressing the legacy of residential schools and the intergenerational trauma, while also highlighting Indigenous art, sports and storytelling.
