Fifty years ago, Champlain College Saint-Lambert was established during a groundbreaking ceremony held in an empty field on the snow-covered banks of the St. Lawrence in 1972.
Now in 2022, the College is a bustling hub of activity, welcoming new and returning students, faculty and staff for another incredible year.
In honour of the College’s 50th birthday this year, we as an institution will be reflecting on this important milestone and looking ahead to the next 50 years of the College.
We will be pushing forward with our Strategic Plan, working to foster a culture of equity, diversity and inclusion and lobbying to protect English-language institutions in Quebec.
This year we will be celebrating our alumni, putting an emphasis on preserving our history and launching a new website where we can tell the stories of our current and future success stories.
We can’t wait to see what this special year has in store.
